Stream Border is a line of glazed porcelain mosaic tiles with a modern look, manufactured by Inax Corporation, from Japan. Stream border is available in a flat tile and an undulating round surface tile for walls with an unusual look.
Colors + Finishes
Pewter and White are the two colors in the Stream Border mosaic line. The white has a glazed matte finish while the Pewter tile has a glazed semi-polished finish.
Sizes
Each color and surface is offered in a single nominal size, 1-3/16″x 5-5/8″. The flat tiles have a consistant thickness of 1/4″ while the slightly rounded tiles measure 1/4″ at the end and 3/8″ at the center. Mosaics are produced on 12″x12″ paper faced sheets and can be installed with a 1/4″ grout line.
Installation + Maintenance
Stream Border can be installed using standard installation methods for thinset adhesives. Use high quality adhesive and grout from such manufacturers as Laticrete and Mapei, following manufacturers’ recommendations, depending on conditions. Clean regularly with mild neutral detergent.
